The Project
Fera is currently investigating a potential project in the Koyuga Nanneella area. The aim is to confirm the installation of 20-25 turbines across two sites. The pod design will help reduce visual impact and facilitate the connection process.
Fera plans to integrate the project into the Bendigo-Shepparton 220kV transmission line, located to the south of the project area. This location was chosen for its strong wind resources and proximity to the main transmission line. Efforts will be made to minimise the impact of new infrastructure on local homes.
We have created a number of fact sheets to disperse confusion surrounding wind farms and renewable energy.
